Who we are!
AMIZERO Y’UBUZIMA is a local nongovernmental organization created in accordance with the law N°04/2012 of 17/02/2012 governing local nongovernmental organizations in Rwanda and by this statutes adopted by the absolute majority members of the Organization gathered in the General Assembly held at Kibirizi on 04/ 04/ 2014 .
AMIZERO Y’ UBUZIMA has the VISION of removing all education, health care and social welfare barriers towards children and youth with disabilities in Rwanda and a MISSION of promoting education and health of children and youth with disabilities. To achieve its mission, the organization has set 4 key objectives:
- To assist and advocate for Children and youth with disa bilities.
- To promote and make social integration of Children and youth with disabiIities
- To help Children and youth with intellectual disabilities to get out the poverty by ensuring them professional training, community based rehabilitation as well as the Special Need Education.
- To discourage disability-based discrimination activities in the society

Our mission is to make sure all young people and children get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.
Our Vision
We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.
Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster with intellectual disability struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
